You tube address does not "find a File' is the error message. Have they created a wall that doesn't let ClipGrab find the address?

Downloading a large youtube video but the download seems to continue on past 100%. Any idea what is going on?

Is there any way to download the captions for YouTube videos? Some of the videos I want to get have captions at aren't automatically generated by YouTube. Is there any way to get those with Clipgrab?

Clipgrab can only support to download up to 1440p videos but I hope it can download 4k quality as I have a 4k iMac and some videos are available as 4k quality.

Why won't Clipgrab open the target folder? It never has worked on two Win 7 computers - my idea=make it work!

Ability to select multiple resolutions from one video. It can be very convenient for website owners like myself — I need to download many resolutions everytime.

Implementation can be very simple:

1) Checkboxes instead of selectbox on main screen.
2) One more item in selectbox: "Custom" (so it can be like this: 4K, 1080p, 720p, 480p, Custom) and checkboxes in Settings.

For example, I'm always trying to download 480p, 720p, 1080p and all resolutions higher from that (including original file). I was searching for downloader with this functionality, but without luck.

Nach Installation von CG 3.8.2-cdge bekomme ich Fehlermeldung "Keine zulässige Win32‑Anwendung". beim Start. Die alte Version hat funktioniert. Was tun?

Seit iPad OS kann man ja problemlos auch lokal ( ggf. auch in die iCloud) oder auf einen angeschlossenen USB-Stick etc. speichern. Wäre toll, wenn es also auch eine Version für das iPad gibt.

Basically have a plain text file import where you can specify a file where you have a line by line list of all the links you want ClipGrab to download, and potentally have some sort of rate/connection limiting option to determine how many active downloads it starts at once / connections to be made at once.

"Remember video quality" option should also remember the framerate of the previous video, not just the video dimensions.

Might be nice to be able to turn off dark mode for the app. When dark mode is on, the app is very dark (dark background with black text)

I used to have a problem with messages coming up
about SSL Errors, which would prevent downloads taking place.
By chance I found a solution. On the Tabs on ClipGrab,
I went to SETTINGS>>OTHER, at the bottom of this
last Tab there is a Box which says "Ignore SSL Errors".
I ticked this Box and that solved the problem. Apparently,
this Box is Unchecked by default. I think it would save
users a lot of hassle if this Box were checked by default.
They could always uncheck it if they wanted to.

Ideally, it would add each new video to a different local folder (to keep them organised).

Wenn ich segmentierte Videos runterladen will, bei deinen die einzelnen Segmente Umlaute im Dateinamen haben kommt die Fehlermeldung 403-Forbidden. An stelle des Umlauts wird dabei in der Fehlermeldung ein ? angezeigt.
Die Beschreibung auf https://php-de.github.io/jumpto/utf-8/ passt ziemlich gut. daher denke ich dass es an UTF-8 vs. ISO8859-1 liegt...

Grunsätzlich funktioniert das downloaden, aber sobald ich versuche ein YouTube Video von einem VEVO Kanal herunterzuladen, erscheint eine Fehlermeldung (Forbidden error code 403)

Wenn die Metadaten im Popup eingeben werden, werden sie, zumindest auf meinem Windows-Rechner, später nicht mehr angezeigt. Dass bedeuted das egal ob ich Interpret und Name eintrage steht am ende bei der konvertierten Datei nichts mehr davon.
