youtube-dl download fails everytime

error is: Error downloading youtube-dl: Connection refused

Das Programm lässt sich nur installieren, wenn die Installation über die vorherige Version 3.9.5 erfolgt (Programmaufruf). Der Download der exe-Datei mit der manuellen Installation funktioniert nicht (setup bleibt stehen mit dem Hinweis "keine Rückmeldung". Schlecht: die alte Version bleibt unter Programme erhalten. Wird hier Deinstallation gewählt, dann sind beide Versionen entfernt. Bitte nachbessern.

Schlimm finde ich, dass man keinen grünen Balken mehr hat, das war viel besser, und man sieht oben nicht mal mehr den Gesamtzustand in Prozent, wenn man mehr als ein Video hat ist das zusammen mit dem fehlenden grünen Balken SEHR nervig, und wieso wird das nach 10 Jahren geändert? Ich bitte wirklich darum zumindest die Gesamt Prozentzahl oben anzubringen, auch ein Balken war sehr hilfreich, wenn man viele Videos hat und welche stoppen runterzuladen, merkt man das so einfach viel besser.

The green bar is suddenly missing, and I can no longer see the total percentage in top, both together is VERY annoying and it was there for 10 years, especially when one video stopped working I could see it much sooner with a green bar and if I don't have the total percentage on top, at least I can see a bit how far I am.

ClipGrab can download audio as well as video. Some audio music files on YouTube are one continuous streams. Would like to have an option to split these music files.

Hi, Great product, Just a few issues that would be nice to have resolved:

1. Have ClipGrab check clipboard for a link on startup. It detects a link on the clipboard when it's running, but not at startup.




2. ClipGrab does not seem to detect when the disk is full. It goes through the process of saving the file but nothing is really saved.




3. It would be nice if ClipGrab would also generate an alert if the video that I am trying to save already exists.

Kriege nun immer eine Meldung, dass ein SSL handshake failure beim erneuten download von "youtube-dl" vorhanden sei. Erneutes Downloaden und Neuinstallieren von der Version 3.9.6. brachte nix -> Hilfe, wie komm ich hier weiter?

when video is finished how do you remove it from the current downloading video list

Sometimes I need to extract a few seconds or a few minutes of a long video for "fair use" in a presentation. I once had a need for about 45 seconds' worth from a video containing 6 movies in one file! It would sure be nice to avoid moving hundreds of MB across the network, only to discard most of it during editing.

I used Clipgrab for a couple of years and it was great. Since last update (and comlete new installation) it doesn´t work anymore, saying "phyton31.dll is missing". What can I do?

ClipGrab worked FINE today until I was FORCED to install the yt-dl update. Since then NOT ONE youtube dl works ("no downloadable video found") .... peculiar enough, other yt-dl tools work perfect.
Is ClipGrab turning into ClipCRAP? Looks like it ....

bei gleichnamigen Datei wird eine Nummerierung an die zu speichernde Datei angehängt. Das funktioniert aber nur bis Nr. 1. Danach werden alle Dateien mit der Nr. 1 überschrieben. Dies geschieht oft bei Downloads aus Mediatheken. Bitte mal prüfen,

I've downloaded a video and it is not in the location I selected. I've used clip grab a lot before and this is the first something like this has happened. I've tried looking through all my videos and it's not there. I also tried selecting "open downloaded file" and nothing happened. When I click "open target folder" it just shows me my "This PC" files.
Anyone got any idea where it could be?

Sorry if this is the wrong place...but...I have been using Clipgrab for a year, works perfectly. Today when I started it I was messaged that it needed to download a file from the internet. It never did this before. I deleted Clipgrab and downloaded a new file 3.9.6 from the Clipgrab.org website and tried to re-install it
**Now Windows Defender throws up a message that this file contains a virus (PUP) and will not install it: flags dotinstaller.exe as a virus.
Has your website been attacked and compromised??

For easy install to those users who would want to use the app but don't have it offered on the repos of their Linux distro... <3
