  1. ClipGrab 3.8.10 for Linux Not Functioning with YouTube

    Today I notice a poor behavior with the package manager version of ClipGrab. Perviously, this version has worked well in LM 19.1. However, today, it is closing on its own, not detecting urls on the clipboard, and or downloading only half the video, etc. The problem seems limited to YouTube, and it functions properly on BitChute. Additionally, the command line utility for LM, youtube-dl is also throwing an error, whenever it tries to download from YouTube today. I am wondering if YouTube had some type of block on... Any ideas?

    I should add, I downloaded the latest ClipGrab version 3.8.13…

  4. Tv channel and DLL problems (2 separate issues)

    I sent the idea through email. I do not want the many Tube sites, particularly East Asia people to spy and take it.

    By the way, my Clip Grab say it cannot load because the file:
    VCRUNTIME140.DLL is missing, how can I do?

    tut sie nämlich nicht. Nichts. Meldung "Kein Ergebnis gefunden". Immer. Egal bei welcher Eingabe.

  7. installation: would you please, please, please stop desktop shortcuts

    With every upgrade, I need to log into an admin account to remove the desktop shortcut clutter. Make it an installation option, off by default. Thanks.

  8. Dailymotion Download funktioniert nicht mehr

    Seit Version 3.8.13 funktioniert bei mir der Download von Dailymotion nicht mehr. Fehlermeldung "Could not retrieve video title" und in der Kommentarspalte "Auf dieser Seite wurde leider kein Video gefunden". Wäre fantastisch, wenn das bald wieder funktionieren könnte!

  10. Leider funtioniert die youtube Suche nicht...

    ...zumindest nicht bei mir unter Windows und Lubuntu.
    Die Erkennung der Zwischenablage tut auch nicht richtig (es wird dann nicht automatisch heruntergeladen, wenn man auf die Meldung klickt)

    Soll aber keine negative Kritik sein, das Programm ist mir eine große Hilfe. Eher eine vielleicht hilfreiche Rückmeldung.

    seit der ClipGrab-Version 3.8.14 wird das Installationsprogramm als
    potenziell unerwünschte App gelistet. Kann das jemand bestätigen?
    Ist es möglich, das Installationsprogramm entsprechend zu ändern?

  14. Automatischer Download auch wirklich automatisch !

    Das Programm gefällt mir sehr gut. Aber, warum muß ich nochmal den Button "Dieses Video herunterladen" drücken, wenn in den Einstellungen für die Zwischenablage "immer herunterladen" aktiviert ist ??

  15. Package for Ubuntu focal and above

    Hi!

    I have packaged ClipGrab (3.9.5) for Ubuntu focal+ and made it available here: https://launchpad.net/~xtradeb/+archive/ubuntu/apps .

    I intend to keep it updated as new releases become available.

    I noticed ClipGrab requires "python" (youtube-dl.cpp). Since Ubuntu focal and above might not have this specific command, I made a small patch to change it to python3 and made the package depend on it.

    Let me know your thoughts!

  17. Please make option for downloading YouTube playlists, at least for 10 videos at once

    YouTube playlists download option where we can download lets say 10 videos at once. For example, if YT playlist has 30 videos, I could chose download from 1-10, or 11-20, 15-25 etc... It would be amazing, I hope that you will do it, and please contact me via mail if its needed, I would be happy to help. Thank you for this beautiful software
