  2. Download queuing and resuming

    Hi!

    Could you please add these features:

    1. Download queuing

    Now, if I add any link download starts immediately. It will be much better if user can prioritize which videos should be downloaded first.

    2. Download resuming.

    Everytime my net gets disconnected (yes, it does!) I have to restart my download, which is a wastage of bandwidth as far as huge video files are concerned.

    Download queuing is planned for ClipGrab and we will see it together with the feature to download lists of videos.
    Download resuming, however will probably not be implemented.

  3. adjust synchronisation between audio and video (youtube 1080p)

    Hello,
    Bravo, congratulations for your fantastic tool. Before that, I managed to download separate 1080p video & audio files from You tuben but always failed to remux them correctly (I tried ffmpeg, mp4creator, mp4box). I guess your app does download both HD tracks (audio & video) separately as well, before remuxing them in a mp4 container, in a transparent way for the user. Well done.
    BUT : Although I did succeed to download a 1h50' HD MP4 (1080p) concert from youtube, I notice that the picture and sound are not exactly in sync, especially at the end of the video…

  5. systray icon problem - clipgrab-3.4.8.tar.gz under Ubuntu 14.10

    I've just downloaded clipgrab-3.4.8.tar.gz and started using under Ubuntu 14.10 64-bit. I see only one minor problem: although the current icon theme has clipgrab icons in all sizes, the icon displayed in the systray (Unity top panel) is merely a fallback icon for "icon missing" and a little more important problem: nothing happens, no menu appears when I click it, which means the app gets out of control if "Minimize ClipGrab to system tray" is enabled in the Settings.

    Halt einfach Videos in 60fps downloaden zu können. :-)

  7. Betriebsystem Proxy Einstellungen übernehmen

    Unter MAC OS sollte der OS Proxy der bei der Netzwerkverbindung eingestellt ist automatisch übernommen werden.

    Siehe Safari/Chrome/Firefox und alle Apple Anwendungen.

  9. Mehrfach Download

    Entweder über die aktuell geöffneten Safari-Tabs (kann man relativ leicht per AppleScript auslesen) oder über eine Textdatei, die die entsprechenden Links beinhaltet.

    Ps: Gibt es eine Möglichkeit ClipGrab von außerhalb anzusprechen? z.B. Aufruf per Konsole mit Übergabe von URL, Outputformat etc.?

    Is it planned to make ClipGrab able to download video external subtitles ? I think mainly about Youtube's subtitles.

  11. ClipGrab should check available space on filesystem and return codes

    Currently I use net-misc/clipgrab-3.4.2 on amd64 Linux with normally mounted in RAM 2GB /tmp partition.

    On download above 1GB video I've find the following issue:
    The fetch process ternimates normally.
    After that ClipGrab starts concatinating in temporary file in /tmp, although there isn't enough space for it.
    On finish concatenating it ignores errors and moves rusult (corrupted) file into target, after that removes all temporary files.

    I expect here the following behaviour:
    1. First, prior to fetching ClibGrab should check is there enough space in /tmp.
    It even starts fetch of this particular video after remounting /tmp to 1GB partition…

  14. screen position and column width

    Vielleicht kleiner, aber dennoch nerviger GUI Bug:
    Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn das Programm die selbst eingstellte Screen Position sowie die Breite der Tabellen dauerhaft speichert. Denn nach einem Programmneustart ist wieder alles "verhunzt" und mann muss es wieder neu einstellen nach seinem persönlichen Geschmack.

    In einer kommenden Version wird diese Funktion unterstützt werden. Mal sehen, ob es ein Default wird ober ob man es in den Optionen explizit aktivieren muss.
    Vorschläge dazu sind gern gesehehen bzw. gelesen :-)

    Die Unterstützung von Downloads aus Text-Dateien ist vorerst nicht geplant.
    Jedoch der Download von YouTube-Playlisten sowie die manuelle Eingabe mehrerer Links (das ist dann auch praktischer als Text-Dateien)

  18. Problem mit langen Videos

    Ich habe des Öfteren Probleme mit längeren Videos auf Youtube (über 20 Min.)
    Diese werden oft nicht geladen, selbst wenn man das Programm stundenlang laufen lässt. Vielleicht ist es ja auch nur ein Problem, was nur mich betrifft...ansonsten vielen Dank, sehr gutes Programm!

  20. Interpret und Titel vor Dateinamen abfragen

    Es wäre schön, wenn man den Interpret und Songtitel zuerst eingeben könnte, sodass sich daraus dann der gewünschte Dateiname(z.B. Name - Titel.mp3) ergibt. Würde ein wenig Arbeit ersparen.
